Recipe: Summer Fruit Salad
Fruit Salad: Beautiful and refreshing - my new favorite salad!
This summer, I’ve discovered a fruit salad recipe that's become my go-to for the season. It’s so delicious and simple to make that I’ll be making it regularly throughout the summer!
In the past, I used to buy 3-4 types of fruit, wash them, and store them in separate containers in the fridge. When I wanted to enjoy some fruit, I’d grab a few pieces from each container and mix them in a bowl.
But now, I’ve found a flavor combination that’s so perfect, I’ll never store them separately again. It’s simple, full of flavor, and I love it!
I hope you love it too!
Ingredients
Any fruit that is in season :) I used strawberries, blueberries, and peaches.
Lime Juice
Honey
Fresh Basil
*When it comes to fruit salad - there is no right or wrong amount of ingredients to add! I just add as much or as little of each ingredient as I want. I think this would also be delicious with watermelon, apples, and blackberries.
Instructions
Wash and chop the fruit.
Chop the fresh basil.
Add fruit and fresh basil to a large bowl.
Drizzle with honey and juice from half of a lime (or a whole lime if you’re making a lot!)
Stir until well combined.

Side Dish: This would be a perfect bright summery salad to serve on a night that you’re grilling food or going to a BBQ party.
Let’s Celebrate: It’s such a pretty salad and it could look so fancy served in cute little glass bowls or even clear plastic punch cups at a party or event!
Breakfast: Add this to a bowl with your favorite yogurt and granola for a sweet breakfast.
Snack: This is my current way of eating it! I love to eat this as an after work snack when I’m hungry for something before dinner. And I love to add shredded coconut!
Dessert: If you are really craving the sweets - I think this would be delicious served with vanilla ice cream or homemade whipped cream!
If you decide to make this delicious recipe, please let me know. I’d love to hear about it!
